Kingfisher-The Boy with the Greyhound Tattoo

£7.00

Orange cassette tape in case with insert artwork and track listing. They were recorded on a quality TEAC deck straight from the digital masters. Kingfisher' stems from a firm decision to combine acoustic guitar, reverb rich twang and simple piano lines with modern orchestral sounds and vintage synthesizers to explore some original textures. Drum machines and a live drummer were both utilised while the bass mostly stems from my trusty Höfner violin bass. The album loosely falls into the chamber-pop genre although it is hoped some boundaries have been expanded with sprinkles of 80’s/90’s indie, electropop, classical orchestration and 20th Century Minimalism. Also available on CD. "Badly Drawn Boy meets almost Johnny Marr type production. Astounding."
