Nostalgia trip 2025 A
With the knowledge of this planned trip to London it seemed a decent excuse to take an album from my personal collection on the road trip (rail this time) and as with last years reunion of a Van der Graaf album to the former Marquis Club in Soho, I headed on foot over Waterloo bridge to The Drury Lane Theatre not too far from Covent Garden. The vinyl in question this time was a Charisma compilation
ONE MORE CHANCE released in 1975.
The album artwork was in some way re-enacted with the placement of the album on the steps to the Theatre.
The album itself is not a that hard to find or anything particularly important, simply dip into the Charisma label vaults. One More Chance strikes an ideal balance between in demand rarities and distant classics. Again, a totally pointless exercise but very enjoyable none the less and perfect excuse for exploration of the streets of the Capital.
Mission accomplished it was off to see the sights and take in a few Record shops before returning home.
